Lost the right side pillion footpeg

I was lucky! Went to visit a business partner the other day when he mentioned ---"found a motorcycle footpeg in my drive yesterday, did you happen to lose one?" My answer was a very alert "duh, don't know, guess I aught'a check, huh!" Sho'nuff it was gone! Now students, pay attention. as you are very well aware, the passenger footpegs on the Savage are mounted on the swingarm and consequently are subject to all the ups and downs of the rear wheel as opposed to the stationary mounting bracket of most other Suzuki and other makers bikes. What this means is that the mounting bolt and small chrome cap is very suseptable to vibration and can be loosened and bounced out. Although they are not terribly expensive (3.00) i'll bet your dealer won't have one when you need it. If loose tighten it and use locktite to ensure it will be there when you need it. A little preventative maintenance is worth a lot to a passenger!
